Successful day at the District Cross Country Championships

19th Jan 2022
On a cold but clear day in the Palace Demesne the St. Patrick’s athletes enjoyed something of a medal rush in the district cross country competition. The Senior Boys and Girls teams both brought home team gold medals as well as a tremendous individual gold for Patrick Nugent. Senior Girls Team Niamh Carvill, Orlagh O Connor, Kate Crilly and Maeve Lennon Senior Boys Team Patrick Nugent, Dylan Mone, Fionnan O’Braonain and Darragh McMullen Not to be outdone the younger pupils certainly put in a huge effort and the Junior Boys team brought home a tremendous second place to secure the silver medal position.
