Catholic Schools Week
During Catholic Schools Week, our pupils explored the theme “Ordinary Lives, Called to Holiness” through prayer, reflection, and a variety of enjoyable activities. Students have been exploring faith, community, and creativity, and they have produced some truly inspiring projects, artwork, and reflections. They learned that holiness is not only for saints of the past, but something we are all called to live out in our everyday lives through kindness, forgiveness, and service to others. Our KS3 Pupils displayed excellent research skills while exploring the lives of the millennial saints, discovering how young people today can follow Jesus in ordinary ways. They also showed gratitude and appreciation for their grandparents through thoughtful letter-writing activities, developing both their faith and writing skills. This special week helped pupils grow spiritually, strengthen their sense of community, and recognise how small, daily actions can lead to holiness.
