In celebration of World Tourism Day (September 27), we welcomed back a former pupil now working in the hospitality industry to share her journey, insights, and career advice with current students.
Laura Arroita, who is on her placement year from Ulster University is currently employed with Castle Leslie Estate. Laura returned to speak with pupils about her experiences in the tourism and hospitality sector. Her visit formed part of the school’s activities to mark World Tourism Day.
Pupils had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the wide range of career paths available in tourism—from hotel management and event planning to culinary arts and international travel.
