We meet Stephen Watson and hand over £1850 for the children’s kidney fund NI. Stephen also spoke about the importance of our money for the charity and highlighted the fantastic initiative shown by Sorcha, Grainne, Beth and Grace.Emma Robson (R&A) meets our pupils and provides us with a unique golfing experience. Visits to the tour buses, a walk around the elite corporate facilities and a visit to the Callaway truck where the ladies were given some lovely golf caps. Both groups were brought into the players clubhouse and lounge where Rory said hello and some singer called Niall smiled and waved over to the ladies. There was tears at this stage but I won’t name names Blaithin. However despite not meeting Niall the boys were then photobombed by Shane Lowry. Both groups were given golf lessons and report cards for improvement. So again many thanks to Emma and Lisa for a fantastic day. PS we stopped at a well known fast food restaurant Mc D in Cookstown.
