Adopt A Student – Pray for our exam students.
Exam season can be a stressful time for students and their families and for this reason we would like to invite you to what we here in St. Patrick’s High School have called ‘adopt a student’ to pray for a named student. We have a prayer card with the name of each or our students who will sit their A ‘Level or GCSE this Summer please take one and pray for the student named.
In St Pauls letter to the Galatians 6:2 he tells us to, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.”
Prayer makes a difference. God’s power is seen when we join in prayer for one another. God always listens to our prayers, and he has the power to work mightily in any given situation.
During your parish Mass please include them in your prayers. Put your prayer card in a special place that when you see in it will remind you to offer a prayer to God for them. I know they will appreciate your prayer and kindness to them. We all need God hopefully our students will feel the strength from all the prayers and support over the next few weeks. Lord, You said, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." So, here I am, asking, and on the gate of Your mercy I am knocking. so, do not refuse my prayer, for you have said: "whoever comes to Me I will never drive away."
