About the Camps:

The huge growth in numbers attending GAA Cul Camps has highlighted the need for the Association to build on this continued success.

In 2013 the Association will provide Camps in ed counties, on a pilot basis, for young teenage boys from 13 - 15 years attending Post Primary School or who are enrolled to attend Post Primary in 2013.

These camps are a joint GAA/ GPA initiative and will be the official camps of the GAA for that age group.

Mission Statement:

The Official Youth Camps will be formed by the GAA/GPA to cater for boys (of all playing abilities) under 15 years attending Post Primary School  (or who are enrolled to attend Post Primary in 2013) who want to play GAA Games and learn the Skills of the games with high profile and qualified GAA coaches in a safe environment.

Age: 13 – 15 Boys (Post Primary)

Where: Armagh GAA Grounds, Callanbridge

When: 1st July 2013 – 5th July 2013  10.00am – 2.00pm 

How: The camp will be organised and supervised by Aaron Kernan. Coaches will be a made up of leading Armagh GAA players Ciaran McKeever, Finnian Moriarty, Kevin Dyas, Aidan Forker, Niall Rowland, Michael Stevenson, Declan McKenna, Rory Grugan and Ciaran O'Hanlon.


What To Bring

  • Packed lunch + drink
  • Mouthguard for Football
  • Suitable playing gear, tracksuit, shorts, runners, boots
  • Rain jacket and changes of gear on wet days
  • Sun cream/baseball hat  
  • Towel   +  Water
